โข Long Branch Construction Underway on Ocean Fishing Pier With State Funding (wrat.com) โ Construction is underway on a new, fully accessible ocean fishing pier in Long Branch, replacing the historic structure lost to fire in 1987. Largely funded by state and federal grants, the 550-foot pier near Laird Street Beach will feature seating, ocean views, and a T-shaped end, restoring a long-missing attraction on the city's waterfront.
