Spring Fever Wine & Food Festival this Sunday at Branches

The Garden State Wine Growers Association will host the
third annual Spring Fever Wine & Food Tasting at the elegant Branches in West Long Branch on Sunday, April 7 from noon to 5 p.m.  This year’s event, presented by the Asbury  Park Press and The Breeze radio will feature
over 20 of New Jersey’s finest wineries sampling more than 250 award-winning wines and gourmet food in an award-winning setting noted regionally for its elegance and attention to detail. Valet parking and a souvenir wine glass are included in the $30 admission price. However, tickets for the event are limited so consumers are encouraged
to purchase tickets in advance by visiting www.newjerseywines.com.

In addition to sampling wines, attendees will be able to
purchase wine by the bottle and case. Once inside attendees receive a printed menu showcasing each winery and the wines they will be sampling. Attendees can spend as much time as they wantvisiting each winery’s location and sampling wines.

Winemakers will be offering a broad palette of wines from
dry Bordeaux style with easily recognizable names as well as blends, to more fruity choices. All of the wines available for sampling have been locally produced and feature a number of gold, silver and bronze award winning vintages
from major national competitions including the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, The Los Angeles County Fair Wine Competition, the Finger Lakes
International Wine Competition and the Beverage Testing Institute Wine Challenge.
