Tinton Falls Middle School Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Kelly Molnar, has shared her love of learning with Tinton Falls students for eleven years. Mrs. Molnar graduated from Monmouth University with a degree in Education and History, as well as a Masters Degree in Special Education. She joined the staff of the Swimming River School as a 5th grade teacher. While there she acted as Colonial Day Coordinator for six years. Three years ago she joined the TFMS staff as the 8th grade Social StudiesTeacher and Cheerleading Advisor. When asked about teaching, Mrs. Molnar replied, "I absolutely love teaching U.S. History! As the school year progresses, it excites me to see my students become interested and eager to learn about our country's history and the working of the American government. I try to motivate my students to become interested in the process of the American civic system by stressing to them that in just four or five short years, they will have a say in our government." Mrs. Molnar constantly reminds her students that as they grow up it is important to understand the basic principles of how our country is run. In her spare time Mrs. Molnar enjoys reading, going to the beach, traveling, and yoga. Tinton Falls Middle School is proud and happy to have Mrs. Molnar as part of their family. Congratulations, Mrs. Molnar.
