Anthony Benjamin Orefice, Sr. Of West Long Branch Dies At 89
Services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.

Anthony Benjamin Orefice, Sr., 89. of West Long Branch, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at home.
Mr. Orefice was born and raised in Manhattan and moved to West Long Branch 58 years ago. He was a parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church in West Long Branch and an engineer for Fort Monmouth Satellite Communications in Eatontown for 30 years before retiring.
He was an artist and a sculptor and specialized in cooking healthy and wellness recipes. But most of all he was a family man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren and first great-granddaughter dearly.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Orefice. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Margaret Orefice; three sons, Patrick, Anthony, and Paul; his daughter, Nina MacDonald; eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. Funeral Thursday, 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home with a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Jerome R.C. Church in West Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association , 331 Newman Springs Rd., Bldg. 1, Suite 143, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
