Arlene Hastings Perozzi Of Long Branch Dies At 53

Visitation and memorial service slated for Wednesday.

Arlene Hastings Perozzi aka ‘Bock’ 53, of Long Branch died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.

Arlene attended school in Long Branch and was a cheerleader. She was a member of Trinity A.M.E. Church where she sang in the choir and served as an usher. She was the proud leader of the ‘Smurfettes’ drill team and was a fashionista known for her love of colors.

Arlene was predeceased by her brother Michael Hastings, sister Michele Hastings Downie and mother Jean Hastings. Surviving are her husband Angelo Perozzi, daughter Ebony Spaulding, stepdaughters Angela Johnson, Geanine and Lisa Perozzi, son John Hastings, brother Harold Hastings, sisters Leslie, Julia and Tanya Hastings, two maternal aunts, a maternal uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will take place at Trinity A.M.E. Church, 64 Liberty St., Long Branch, NJ on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at 10 a.m., followed by the memorial service which will begin at 11 a.m. Letters of condolence can be sent through the web at www.damianofuneralhome.com.
