Art Exhibit Opens at Seabrook Retirement Community

Exhibit features more than 100 original art works of arts by residents.

A new art exhibit showcasing the work of residents from Seabrook Retirement Community opened May 19 in the Town Square atrium on campus. The exhibit will be on display until May 31 and features more than 100 original art works of arts by residents.

Resident and artist Gerry McEntegart, who has lived at Seabrook for three years, curated the show. Before moving to Seabrook, she was the director at the Art Alliance in Manahawkin. This is McEntegart’s second year curating the art show at Seabrook.

“This year’s show is amazing. I love when we get art that shows different styles and ways people express themselves,” said McEntegart. “When people come in, I want them to think, who would have known these people have such talent”.
