Asbury Park Night Bazaar Makes Its Debut Saturdays in June
Dozens of artisan vendors, live bands, DJs, food and drinks during the Asbury Park Night Bazaar, every Saturday in June, 6-11 pm.
Asbury Park, NJ—The first-ever Asbury Park Night Bazaar is taking over the Grand Arcade of Convention Hall every Saturday night in June and will feature an evening of vendors, artists, games, food, drinks, and live music.
Running from 6 – 11 p.m., the Asbury Park Night Bazaar will have 25+ independent vendors offering a curated selection of everything from vintage, handmade jewelry and furniture to natural products, food, and artisan goods. At the same time, The Anchor’s Bend, which features a bar with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and a bar on the beach, will feature food and drink specials, DJs, live music, and games.
On June 13, we are featuring a very special night featuring Merge Recording artists from Chapel Hill, NC, Spider Bags, along with New Jersey’s Garage Rock OG’s The Ribeye Brothers. DJ Foggy Notion will keep the party going all night until close.
On June 20, the Night Bazaar will host the album release party for Asbury Park-based punk rock band Lost in Society who will be bringing along AP 90’s alt/punk provocateurs The Obvious and a solo acoustic set by AP’s favorite downtown victualler, Mr. Chris Brown, and award-winning DJ Mike Merrell.
The Night Bazaars close out on June 27 with a surf-guitar Luau featuring Asbury Park’s gurus of the surf, Black Flamingos, and Jersey City’s masters of the Hudson Surf scene Bongo Surf, with special guest DJ sets from the bands!
Intheclouds, part record label/part art project, will be onsite for the June 20th and 27th Night Bazaars printing official event and band merch, as well as custom orders.
