Beach Bee Meadery Set To Open In Long Branch

LONG BRANCH, NJ — The Beach Bee Meadery will open this weekend in Long Branch. The business offers a variety of meads and ciders.

What is mead? It's an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting water and honey. It can be sweet, dry, still, sparkling or even hopped, according to Beach Bee Meadery's website.

The meadery will be open 3-9 p.m. Saturday and 12-5 p.m. Sunday. The property will include a production area for tours and a tasting room for relaxing and trying their latest creations.

They're located at 89 Long Branch Ave., right by Pier Village. Beach Bee Meadery recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the City.
