Brian W. Anderson Of Monmouth Beach Dies At 63

Services for West Point graduate will be held on Tuesday.

Brian W. Anderson on Monmouth Beach passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the age of 63.

He was raised in Iselin, New Jersey. He was a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy of West Point and member of the 101st Airborne Division. He received his MBA in 1982 from the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania and worked on Wall Street for over 30 years in fixed income securities institutional sales. He was a communicant of St. Michaels’s Church in Long Branch.

His energy, enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity was beyond pale. A loving father who taught his sons to ski, boat, fish and seek excellence and passion in everything they do. His generosity and caring heart touched every person in his extended family and he will be missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Anderson, stepfather Alvin Decker, and nephew Alvin Decker.

He is survived by his wife Julie, sons Justin and Jordan, his mother Henrietta Decker, brothers Tom Anderson and Alvin Decker, nieces Alicia Decker, and nieces Carlin and Maris Ryger-Wasserman.

The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at the Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach. A funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m.
