The screams are returning to Brookdale Community College's Performing Arts Center (PAC) this October as the award-winning Brookdale Haunted Theater celebrates its 23rd year with a full lineup of Halloween experiences.&nbsp; 
From its signature immersive haunt to a family-friendly lights-on tour and a late-night screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Voted Best Overall Attraction for seven consecutive years by <a href="https://www.brookdalecc.edu/pac/haunted-theater/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">NJHauntedHouses.com</a>, Brookdale’s Haunted Theater has become a Halloween tradition for thrill-seekers throughout New Jersey. At the heart of it all is an attraction imagined and brought to life by Brookdale students. Designed, built, and operated by past and present students, the Haunted Theater transforms the entire Performing Arts Center into a terrifying labyrinth filled with gruesome scenes, sinister creatures, elaborate sets, special effects, and heart-pounding surprises. This isn’t a stage show. Guests make their way through a fully immersive haunted house experience that winds through the facility, with frights lurking around every corner.&nbsp;Enter if you dare. The Haunted Theater will be open Oct. 16–18, 23–25, and 29–30, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Brookdale Community College PAC, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ, off&nbsp;Museum Drive. Tickets are $20 and must be purchased in advance for a designated time slot. Group rates are automatically applied for groups of 10 or more and 25 or more, and buses are welcome. Join us at the New Jersey Archival Film Festival on Saturday, November 7th at Monmouth University's historic Great Hall from 9AM-1PM. Featured short films include footage documenting the relocation of a Victorian historic house in Englewood, community celebrations in Newark's Ironbound neighborhood, a 1950s Easter parade in Atlantic City, and a picnic honoring the first graduating class of RU Livingston College's Puerto Rican Studies program. Additional short films showcase concerts, protests, and oral histories exploring themes such as Jewish farming communities in South Jersey, environmental justice issues in New Jersey, and our State's pivotal role in the Revolutionary War and the founding of the nation. The event is free and open to the public.
