A 34-year-old Brick man was charged with stealing drugs and numerous Christmas gifts from a Monmouth County apartment this past month, police said.Pedro Aviles of Drum Point Road was charged with stealing electronics and Christmas gifts that were valued at more than $500 in Long Branch on Dec. 22, police said.Aviles also stole Ambien after forcing the front door to the Long Branch apartment open, police said.Aviles was arrested on $20,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
