DWI Checkpoint In Monmouth County

The checkpoint will run from Saturday night to Sunday morning on Route 36.

The Monmouth County DWI Task force in cooperation with the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety will conduct a DWI checkpoint in West Long Branch to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.

The checkpoint will run from 11 p.m. Saturday through 3 a.m. Sunday on Route 36.

Task force members and West Long Branch police will pull vehicles from the westbound lanes into the Monmouth Park Corporate Center parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety, according to Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, the task force coordinator.
