Eatontown 2021 Town Council Race: Who Is Running?

EATONTOWN, NJ — The 2020 U.S. presidential race is far behind us, but there elections on the horizon in 2021.

Gov. Phil Murphy will ask voters to re-elect him this year, challenged by Republican Jack Ciattarelli, and there is a local town election in Eatontown.

There are two seats up for election on the Eatontown town Council: Republicans David Gindi and Everett Lucas will compete against Democrats Mariel Hufnagel and Coleen Burnett.

This week was the filing deadline for candidates to announce they are running.

There is no local election in Long Branch this year.
