Eatontown Fire Dept. Receives Grant From NJ American Water

EATONTOWN, NJ — The Eatontown Fire Department was given a $1,961 grant from New Jersey American Water, in honor of October being First Responders Appreciation Month.

Eatontown Fire Department is one of 19 volunteer fire and EMS departments located in NJ American Water's service areas chosen to receive grants, totaling more than $43,000.

The fire departments say they will spend the grant money to purchase gas meters, hoses, emergency lights and other rescue equipment as well as for training courses and tools.
