EATONTOWN, NJ — Polls are now closed in the 2026 midterm elections.

In 2026, there was an election for Eatontown mayor and town council. Mayor Anthony Talerico, a Democrat, asked voters to re-elect him to a third term as the town's mayor. He was challenged by Councilwoman Maria Grazia Escalante, Republican, in her first attempt to become Eatontown's mayor.

Talerico ran on his record as the town's current mayor, where he touted his availability to residents to address their problems, and his negotiations with Netflix that secured a $47 million payment-in-lieu-of-taxes (PILOT) to the town.
