For the first of four Wine + Dine Series, Chef Giletto (as seen on the Food Network’s Chopped, Iron Chef America, and the Next Food Network Star, to name a few) teamed up with Brookside Winery out of California to create a custom four course dinner to compliment the delicious Gen 7 Wines of Brookside Winery. Wine maker, Tim Bacino, will be in attendance to discuss his wines with diners.
Gen 7 Wine are produced in small quantities of 300 cases or less. The dinner will feature N.V. Private Cuvee, Brookside Winery, Gen 7 Wines paired with a Miniature Flounder Tartar as an Amuse bouche. For the first course, 2009 Chardonnay, Santa Barbara County, Brookside Winery, Gen 7 Wines served with a San Francisco Style Seared Crab Cake. The main course will feature the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, Brookside Winery, Gen 7 Wines with Braised Venison Short Ribs. To wrap up the evening a 2010 Muscat Blanc, Brookside Winery, Gen 7 Wines will be served with a Pumpkin Crème Brulee. The cost is $75 per person, which is inclusive of tax and service charge.
