First-Ever Eatontown Target Opens This Sunday At 8 A.M.

EATONTOWN, NJ — The much-anticipated Eatontown Target will have its grand opening this Sunday, July 16, the store announced.

This is the new Target located at the high-traffic intersection of Rts. 35 and 36, in the Eatontown Best Buy Plaza. It is located right next to the Best Buy, in the space that used to be occupied by Vingo Wines, China Buffet and Babies R Us.

Store hours will be Sunday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. So for those looking to be some of the first customers inside the new store, it will open at 8 a.m. this Sunday.

The Eatontown Target will have a CVS pharmacy, Ulta Beauty boutique and a Starbucks inside. It will also have drive-up, order pickup and same-day delivery through Shipt. This is a "small-format" Target store, meaning it's only about one third of the size of a regular Target. It's part of a plan from Target to allow them to open in more congested areas, which the corporation deemed Eatontown to be.

Up until now, the nearest Target location to Eatontown is the one on Rt. 66 in Ocean Township. There is also a Target on Rt. 35 in Middletown.

Guests can also shop on their own terms ready within a couple of hours with no membership required for the easiest shopping experience in retail.”

The Eatontown Target says it will hire approximately 200 employees, with pay and benefits that include a $15-$24 per hour starting wage range and tuition-free education assistance.
