Former Football Standout At Monmouth University Signs With Philadelphia Eagles
Miles Austin returning to the East Coast.

Former Monmouth University star wide receiver Miles Austin is coming home.
Austin - who played for Monmouth from 2002-2005 - has signed a free agent contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to the university’s website.
The nine-year NFL veteran spent last season with the Cleveland Browns and previously played for the Dallas Cowboys. He is the only Monmouth University football player to have his Jersey retired.

“I’m excited to be back home,” said Austin. “Meeting the guys in the locker room, the coaching staff, the front office personnel, it has just been a great experience so far. I’m fired up to be back on the East Coast.”
