Briana Piscopiello and Hannah Misyak (Girl Scout Troop 1011) are producing and directing the play Fighting for My Self for their Silver Award to bring awareness to social issues that teens face daily. Parents, come with your teen and get an inside look at what is happening to them. It’s a great opportunity for discussion with your teen. In addition, Hannah and Briana have arranged for a short panel discussion with mental health professionals from the community and a member of the Howell Township Police Department immediately following the play.
*Due to the content, the play is geared towards middle and high school aged students. Topics include bulling, peer pressure, bulimia, depression, drinking, drugs and domestic violence.
