Help Clean Up Long Branch's Jackson Woods Park This Saturday

The city of Long Branch is sponsoring a clean-up at Jackson Woods Park this Saturday, October 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

LONG BRANCH, NJ — The city of Long Branch is sponsoring a clean-up at Jackson Woods Park this Saturday, October 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Bring your clippers and garden gloves. Please call Shannon Bruno (732) 571-6545 at the Long Branch Recreation Department to register.

Jackson Woods is a 13-acre park in the north end area of Long Branch, near the Atlantic Ocean.

This is an urban park that was in disrepair for years, but then a group of Long Branch residents took action! A gazebo has been built, trash removed and beautiful walking trails are all now in place. Local arts groups are even working to bring sculpture and poetry to Jackson Woods.
