How Do You Get Rid Of Yucky Old Mattresses?
Many times Long Branch Public Works employees come across mattresses with bedbugs.

The Long Branch Police Department wants city residents to be aware of the proper disposal of used mattresses.
Getting rid of old mattresses has become a problem, since bedbugs have been found on many occasions, according to the department’s Facebook page.
“To protect City workers, residents are requested to wrap the mattresses and box springs in plastic sheets, secured with duct tape,” the post states. ”They should be placed at the curb for pickup on the scheduled bulk day. Please do not place the items out at the curb more than 24 hours before the pickup.”
