Kenneth S. Bernard Of Long Branch Dies At 92
Services for longtime resident will be held on Friday.

Kenneth S. Bernard, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, in Long Branch.
Kenneth, a dedicated husband and father, was born Feb. 13, 1923 in Spanish Town, Jamaica, West Indies and lived in Long Branch for 48 years.
He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Mavis in 2014; his daughter, Kay Bernard; son-in-law, Errol Bromfield; parents, Daniel and Icilda Bernard; brothers, Winston, Carlton and Owen Bernard and sisters, Marvis Mudie, Ann Bernard.

Kenneth is survived by his three sons, Lloyd and his wife Hyacinth, Smedmore and his wife Yvonne, Alrick and his wife Veronica; his two daughters, Huldah and her husband Prince Donaldson and Paulette Bromfield; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, three brothers, Franklyn, Walter and Melvin and three sisters, Blanche, Delores and Patricia.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Collingwood Park Seventh Day Adventist Church; 276 Shark River Road, Tinton Falls. The burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
