Konscious Youth Development and Service (KYDS) in an effort to build strong healthy communities

In an effort to build strong healthy communities Inner City Kids Receive Free Meditation, Yoga, Open Mic Nights and more.

All youth are deserving of love, but not all are shown the path to find that strength within themselves. How can you support youth that need some solace, direction and grounding. Mychal Mills, Rodney Salomon and Irene Muniz have all made an observation as to what can be improved in our community today and together they share an obligation to make a difference. Each one of them received a Masters and have a rich background in youth work and community organizing. The have partnered up to create Konscious Youth Development and Service (KYDS) in an effort to build strong healthy communities starting in Asbury Park. The three of them intend to provide youth with the knowledge attained from their own personal journey as well as various educational and professional resources available.

Founder Salomon speaks on their mission, "This is a critical time for youth across America. The spur of violence has caused an outcry among young people. We are observing a world that is out of balance. We believe that there is a solution to help change the world by guiding our youth to change themselves. By showing them to go within to bring balance to the body, mind & soul.”

Donate a yoga mat to KYDS to help support their mission of preparing and creating future leaders through holistic interventions such as yoga, mindfulness meditation, healthy nutrition, and more. KYDS is a nonprofit organization focusing on the Neptune Township and Asbury Park communities. The organization was founded in the Fall of 2014 by Mychal Mills and Rodney Salomon. In 2015 they connected with Irene Muñiz from Asbury Park, NJ.
