Lillian L. Dalton Of West Long Branch Dies At 85
Services scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

Lillian L. Dalton, 85, of West Long Branch, died peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Rumson.
Born in Long Branch, she had lived in West Long Branch since 2000. For over 30 years, Lillian, known as “La”, was part of the Damiano family; she lovingly and caringly helped raise us and our children as her own. She was a member of the Old First United Methodist Church in West Long Branch, the Evening Department of the Long Branch Women’s Club, and the West Long Branch Historical Society.
She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Dalton in 1990; her sister and brothers, Madeline Nudd, Robert West and James West. Surviving are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Larry Harrington of Rumson; Kimberly and Anthony Panduri of West Long Branch, four grandsons, Shane, Larry, Anthony and Christopher and a great grandson, Dylan. The family would like to thank Marie, her caregiver, and John Hartley from Grace Hospice for the wonderful care given.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in West Long Branch.
