Lillian Subinsky Goldenberg Of Belmar Dies At 86

Service set for 11 a.m. on Sunday in Long Branch.

Lillian Subinsky Goldenberg, 86, of Belmar, died Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Sunrise Assisted Living.

Mrs. Goldenberg was born in Long Branch and had lived there and Asbury Park before moving to Belmar.

She and her husband, George were active members of the Congregation B’Nai Shalom, Long Branch, which merged with Congregation Torat El, Ocean Twp., where she remained as a member. She was active for many years in the Sisterhood of B’Nai Shalom.

Mrs. Goldenberg was predeceased by her husband, George in 1987 and her daughter, Noreen Hunt in 2005. Surviving is her son, Sam Goldenberg, Tinton Falls and her son-in-law, George Hunt, Monmouth Beach.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Sunday, March 8 at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell St., Long Branch, Rabbi Sara Metz of Congregation Torat El, officiating. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Shiva will be observed at Sam’s home.
