LIVING WELL WITH DIABETES

Millions of people in the U.S. have diabetes – many of them don’t even know that they have the disease. Although diabetes is a serious health problem, with proper care, it can be managed. Instructor Autumn Dempsey, RN, CDE will discuss how to recognize the signs and symptoms of diabetes and the important role that diet plays in controlling this disease. This program, for those 60 and older, will be held at SCAN in the Monmouth Mall, located at Routes 35 & 36 in Eatontown. Registration is required by calling 732-542-1326. Free.
