Long Branch Cops: Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Seizure Of Large Amount Of Ecstasy
Alan Fajardo, 20, was lodged in the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $151,000 cash bail.

Long Branch police recovered a "large quantity" of MDMA - also known as Ecstasy or Molly - when they stopped an Asbury Park man for a motor vehicle violation on Ocean Boulevard recently, Public Safety Director Jason Roebuck said.
Officer Patrick Vaccaro pulled Alan Fajardo, 20, over at 2:15 am. on March 8 for a tinted windows offense. He determined that Fajardo had 1,848 blue and orange pills and under 50 grams of marijuana in his possession. His car and $350 in cash were seized for forfeiture, Roebuck said.
"Officer Vaccaro should be commended for his initiative, and for once again proving how motor vehicle offenses can and often do lead to larger arrests," he said.
