Long Branch, Eatontown Primary 2020: Who's On The Ballot
The election is mostly being done by mail with delayed results. Here are specifics for Tuesday's contest.
EATONTOWN, NJ — The primary election looks different this year as the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed back the date, shuttered polls and made Tuesday's contest "primarily" vote-by-mail.
Eatontown has two Borough Council positions up for grabs, so two Democrats and two Republicans will advance to the general election. Four Democratic candidates are running, making it contested within their party.

- Mariel S. Hufnagel (D)
- James D. David (D)
- Dee A. Slattery (D)
- Mark Regan, Jr. (R)
- Margaret Hope Corcoran (R)
Congressman Chris Smith will run unopposed in the Republican primary. The Democratic primary for the 4th District has three candidates: Stephanie Schmid, Christine Conforti and David Applefield.
Long Branch doesn't have any municipal contests during this primary election.

But Long Branch will have a contested Democratic primary on the ballot for the House of Representatives. 6th District Incumbent Frank Pallone, Jr. is running against Russell Cirincione and Amani Al-Khatahtbeh.
