Long Branch Girl Scout Among Top Cookie Sellers on Shore

Ariana sold 1,439 boxes this year and is being honored by Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.
Ariana and five other Girl Scouts received recognition for their skills in "financial literacy and entrepreneurship," and were presented with two tickets to The B.I.G. Celebration on June 23rd at Liberty State Park, according to a release from the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.

The other girls honored include:
Cadette Girl Scout: Jazmin Krueger, Troop 256, Little Egg Harbor, 2,054 boxes
Cadette Girl Scout: Ashley Griffin, Troop 256, West Creek, 1,531 boxes
Individual Girl Scout: Kristin Ramsay, Toms River, 1,503 boxes
Daisy Girl Scout: Victoria Edelman, Troop 286, Toms River, 1,440 boxes
Cadette Girl Scout: Sarah Whitehouse, Troop 232, Toms River, 1,289 boxes
These six Girl Scouts individually sold the most boxes of cookies in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
"The Girl Scout cookie sale is the country’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls, teaching them essential life skills such as goal setting, money management, business ethics, decision-making and people skills," the release states.
The honorees will attend the B.I.G. Celebration will feature Joe Jonas and Sara Bareilles, access to a special viewing area for the concert, and a meet and greet with the performers.
The B.I.G. Celebration is run by the Girl Scouts and all net proceeds to benefit the Girl Scout Councils of New Jersey as they celebrate their 100th anniversary. For tickets to The B.I.G. Celebration, visit thebigconcertnj.com.
