Long Branch Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide In Man's Death

Victor M. Moreno Lopez was drunk and fled the scene of a fatal accident.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office has charged a Long Branch man with vehicular homicide after the Nov. 15 death of an unidentified person.

Victor M. Moreno Lopez, 27, 333 Third Avenue, was also charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license. The victim is indentified only as ”T.K.,” according to the complaint.

The accident occurred in West Long Branch. Lopez fled the scene after the accident. His bail was set at $500,000.

Moreno has a first appearance in Monmouth County Superior Court on Dec. 2.
