Long Branch Man Facing Drug Possession Charges

Long Branch police recently arrested a city man and charged him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and outstanding warrants, according to a spokesperson for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
James Dunn, 43, 89A White Street. was arrested on Feb. 8. Police found a hypodermic syringe, a silver spoon with an off-white powdery substance and a brown shoelace in his jacket pocket. He was also found to be in illegal possession of of a controlled dangerous substance, and a small wax envelope labeled “Bulletproof,” containing an off-white powdery substance, believed to be heroin, authorities said.
