Oceanport police obtained a search warrant for Jamire D. Williams' vehicle.

Oceanport police recently arrested a Long Branch man after they found a loaded .22 Browning handgun in his car during a motor vehicle stop, according to a complaint signed by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

Jamire D. Williams, 136 James Street, 24, was charged on Nov. 4, 2015, after police obtained a search warrant because he was deemed to be “a danger to others,” the complaint states.
