Long Branch Police Mourning The Loss Of Captain

The Long Branch Police Department today announced on its Facebook page that retired Long Branch Capt. Gilbert Horrach, badge #186 had died.

“It is with great sorrow that we announce the loss of our Brother, Retired LBPD Captain Gilbert Horrach #186, a truly devoted Officer through and through,” the post states. ”Our thoughts and prayers are with his loving family and friends in this ever so difficult time. Rest in peace, Captain. Your watch is done.”

Patricia Townsend wrote:

“Such a loss first and foremost for Gil’s family, and such a loss to his LBPD family and the many friends Gil made throughout the years. I have so many good memories. He is the most unique, kind and loving man I have had the privilege of calling a friend. God Bless all during this difficult time.”
