Long Branch Woman Killed In Fiery Garden State Parkway Crash
A Long Branch woman was killed in a crash Sunday morning on the Garden State Parkway in Tinton Falls.
TINTON FALLS, NJ — A Long Branch woman was killed in a crash Sunday morning on the Garden State Parkway in Tinton Falls, according to NJ State Police.
Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash at 3:59 a.m. on the Parkway express lanes southbound at milepost 108 in Tinton Falls.
State Police say Kelvin Gomez-Fuentes, 23, of Long Branch, was driving a Toyota pick-up truck south on the Garden State Parkway, with front seat passenger Katherine Andrade-Portillo, 27, also of Long Branch.

In the area of milepost 108, the Toyota ran off the roadway to the left, struck a metal storm drain cover, struck multiple trees and overturned. The Toyota became engulfed in flames.
Andrade-Portillo was killed in the crash.

There were no other injuries reported on scene.
