Looking For Work? Check Out Upcoming Job Fair At Brookdale

Nearly 150 employers and resource organizations will be on hand, officials said.

Nearly 150 employers and job resource organizations will be on hand at a job fair sponsored by Monmouth County at Brookdale Community College later this month.

Monmouth County’s Job Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 18 at the Brookdale Community College Collins Arena, 765 Newman Springs Road, in the Lincroft section of Middletown.

“This job fair will provide you with access to employers seeking talented candidates in every discipline, from hospitality and health care to finance, education, telecommunications, computer science and everything in between,’’ a news release from the county said.

The event is free and registration is not required for jobseekers.

“In addition to bringing in top employers from throughout the Monmouth County area, we are providing resources for jobseekers to assist them in preparing for their search,” Freeholder Deputy Director Serena DiMaso, liaison to the County’s Division of Workforce Development said in a prepared statement.

CentraState Healthcare System and United Parcel Service are among the employers expected to attend. A full list of employers will be posted on www.visitmonmouth.com by Sept. 17.

The 2015 Monmouth County Job Fair is a partnership of the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Monmouth County Workforce Development Board, Monmouth County Division of Workforce Development, New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Monmouth­ Ocean Development Council and Brookdale Community College.
