Maria Senesi Of Eatontown Passes Away

Maria Senesi, of Eatontown, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015.

She was born in Hronski Kosihy, Slovakia in 1919. Maria was a longtime resident of Avenel and Little Silver. After moving to the United States at the age of 16 and becoming a citizen in 1957, Maria worked for Ortem Sportswear in Avenel until she retired.

In her lifelong journey, she now leaves behind two loving daughters, Veronika Jones and Olga Lawrence and two sons-in-law, Thomas Jones and Col. Roy Lawrence; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Anton Senesi.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 at the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad St., Eatontown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Dorothea’s R.C. Church in Eatontown. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
