Melissa 'Missy' Lindhardt of West Long Branch Dies At 51

Melissa "Missy" Lindhardt, 51, passed away peacefully at Monmouth Care Center in Long Branch on March 21, 2016

Melissa was born in Long Branch, and lived in West Long Branch for all of her life. She was a graduate of Shore Regional High School and Monmouth University, and worked at Fort Monmouth before her retirement.

She was a parishioner of Saint Michael's in West End and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was an avid reader who loved children, spending time with family, and volunteering.

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Louise Miller Lindhardt, and her sister Ann.

She is survived by four sisters: Veronica, Margaret, Kathleen, and Patricia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a funeral service held at 8 p.m. at Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, Long Branch. Entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Melissa's memory to a charity of your choice .
