Monmouth County Job Fair To Be Held Friday

The 2015 Monmouth County Job Fair will be held Friday at Brookdale Community College in the Lincroft section of Middletown.

The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the college’s Collins Arena, 765 Newman Springs Road.

“The county continues to provide resources and to respond to the needs of its business community,” Freeholder Deputy Director Serena DiMaso, liaison to the County’s Division of Workforce Development said in a prepared statement. “This job fair is one way we are helping residents and the business community during these difficult economic times.”

Some 140 local employers and employment resource organizations are expected to attend, according to a notice posted on the county’s website.

Registration is not required and the event is free.

The program is sponsored by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Monmouth County Workforce Investment Board, the Monmouth County Division of Workforce Development, the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, the Jersey Shore Association of Human Resources and Brookdale Community College.

The county also offers job services at its One-Stop Career Center, 145 Wyckoff Road, Suite 201, Eatontown.
