Paroline was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of receiving images of child pornography over the internet, according to a news release from the office of U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.
After waiving his Miranda rights, Paroline admitted he downloaded images of child pornography, according to a federal court document. He admitted to police that while he was employed as a teacher at a nursery school and as a summer camp counselor at a private school, he had inappropriately touched children, the document said. He was not charged with a crime related to touching children; U.S. Attorney’s Office Spokesman Matt Reilly said the investigation is continuing. Reilly confirmed it’s possible Paroline will face additional charges.
