The Easter Bunny is coming to the Monmouth Mall, and it's making accommodations for children with special needs. Monmouth Mall hosts Bunny Cares Day from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 7 in the Lower JCPenney Court.

This event allows people with special needs to meet the Easter Bunny in a comforting environment before public hours. Accommodations can be made to support sensory, physical and developmental needs.

Examples of adjustments include adjusting lights and music, as well as providing bunny activity tables for people waiting. Bunny Cares Day is held in partnership with Autism Speaks, which is dedicated to promoting solutions for the needs of people with autism and their families.
