Monmouth Medical Center Presents Late September Community Health Education Programs

N.J. BARIATRIC AND METABOLIC INSTITUTE (NJMBI) AT MONMOUTH MEDICAL CENTER: NEW PATIENT WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY LECTURE
Thursday, September 24 from 6 to 7 p.m.
If you are 100 pounds or more overweight, you can’t afford to miss this physician-led educational lecture which will explain everything you need to know about weight-loss surgery. For those considering a bariatric procedure, this program, presented by Frank Borao, MD and Steven Binenbaum, MD, board-certified, laparoscopic-fellowship–trained surgeons, will offer the most up-to-date information on gastric bypass surgery, gastric banding and sleeve gastrectomy. Join the Monmouth Medical Center Palliative Care and Hospice staff for this lecture discussing how, and when palliative care can provide pain, symptom and stress relief for the patient as well as how to improve the quality of life for both the patient and their family.
