NJ Marathon In Monmouth County Postponed Until November

The Nova Nordisk New Jersey Marathon & Half Marathon expected more than 10,000 athletes to attend.

LONG BRANCH, NJ — The New Jersey Marathon, set to take place April 25, will be postponed until the weekend of Nov. 14-15. Although a reason wasn't immediately given, the news come as New Jersey deals with the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

The race expected more than 10,000 athletes to attend, plus thousands of spectators. The marathon's course begins at Monmouth Park in Oceanport and ends just north of Pier Village.

The course runs through Oceanport, Monmouth Beach, Long Branch, Deal, Allenhurst, Loch Arbour, Asbury Park and Ocean Grove.
