Nobody Challenges West Long Branch Mayor Janet Tucci, But 2 Democrats Running For Council

West Long Branch residents will be asked to vote for mayor and two Council seats this year.

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ — Longtime West Long Branch Mayor Janet Tucci will run for re-election this year, joined by Barbara Ruane and Matthew Sniffen, both running to keep their seats on the town Council.

Both Ruane and Sniffen are Republican.

Nobody is challenging Tucci for mayor.

But two Democrats are hoping to get on the Council, and they are Sarah Betesh and Abraham Seruya.

The primary election will be June 2. The general election will be in November. West Long Branch residents will be asked to vote for mayor and two Council seats this year.
