Obituary: Anthony "Tony" L. Bianco

The Tinton Falls resident passed away suddenly on Sept. 23.

Tinton Falls resident Anthony "Tony" L. Bianco, 88, died suddenly on Friday while traveling in Tennessee.

A member of the U.S. Marine Corps, Bianco was a World War II veteran who served from 1942 to 1946. He was a machinist for 37 years with Bendix in Eatontown and an active member of the Teamsters Union. Bianco was a lifelong communicant at St. Anthony's Church in Red Bank and active in the Tinton Falls Senior Citizen Group for the last 18 years and involved in many community service projects.

Locally, Bianco is survived by two sisters, Adeline Ilaria of Ocean and Phyllis Severini of Oceanport.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's RC Church, 121 Bridge Ave., Red Bank followed by a burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Chapel Hill Road, Middletown.
