Woman Drives SUV Into Long Branch Ice Cream Shop

LONG BRANCH, NJ — A woman drove her SUV through the front glass windows of Nicholas Creamery ice cream shop in Long Branch, according to multiple media reports.

This happened around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, and the Long Branch Fire Department has this photo from the scene.

This occurred in Ursula Plaza in Long Branch, where the ice cream shop is located. A boy sitting on a bench outside the ice cream shop was hit with glass, according to the Link news, a local Long Branch area newspaper.

The woman was taken to a hospital.
