Join your friends and neighbors - and all the curious swashbucklers that have ever wanted to see Olympic sport of fencing up close: The Atlantic Fencing Academy is having an Open House in celebration of Olympic Day, on Sunday, June 28th from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, at One Sheila Drive, Tinton Falls, NJ. You will meet former Olympians James Carpenter, Atlanta ‘96 and Istvan Marton, Munich ‘72, who will share their Olympic experiences and assist with fencing demonstrations. Tinton Falls Mayor Gerald M. Turning will be on hand to introduce local Olympic hopefuls Monica Aksamit and Kris Enslen.

Visitors to the Open House will have an opportunity to try fencing with special kits devised by Chase Bank spokesman and fellow Olympian Tim Morehouse, ‘12 for his successful Fencing in the Schools program. Coaches will be available to answer questions about fencing, varsity programs, and the Olympic ideal. Admission is free.

Fencing is one of the only five sports that have been featured in every modern Olympic Games since 1896. You will see that it is a sport that can be enjoyed by all ages. Come join the fun!
