Pallone is the brother of Congressman Frank Pallone, who represents the city of Long Branch in U.S. Congress. Both are Democrats.

LONG BRANCH, NJ — This May, there will be an election for mayor and five city council seats in Long Branch.

Longtime Long Branch Mayor John Pallone will run again, as will his slate of endorsed Council candidates. In a sign of how popular Pallone is in Long Branch, no challengers filed to run against them.

Monday, March 23 was the filing deadline. The election will be May 12.
