Paul R. Greenblatt, Korean War Veteran, Dies At 84
Services for former Monmouth University and Rutgers graduate school professor will be private.

Paul R. Greenblatt, 84, of Eatontown and local CPA for 45 years in Allenhurst, died at Monmouth Medical Center on Monday, August 3, 2015.
Born November 18, 1930 in Jersey City, to Benjamin and Diana Greenblatt, he grew up in Bayonne. Paul was a professor of accounting at Monmouth University in the 1970s and 1980s. He also taught at Rutgers Graduate School. He was a past president of the Lincroft-Red Bank Kiwanis Club and the Lincroft JCC’s. He was a member of NJ Society of CPAs and Florida CPAs.

He was a pilot, flew his own Cessna and was a member of the NJ Pilots Association. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was an avid skier and also had many ballroom dancing trophies. Paul loved life and lived it fully.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Diane Lowy Greenblatt. He leaves behind four children, Michael Greenblatt of Lavallette, Faith Greenblatt of Royal Palm Beach FL, Tara Green Murfreesboro, TN and Doug Green of Nashville, TN; two stepchildren and their spouses, Toni and Mark Bahary and Henry and Sheri Vaccaro all of Ocean; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother, Dr. Marvin Greenblatt.
