Holmdel Police arrested an Eatontown woman who they say had 18 packets of heroin.

Holmdel Police arrested an Eatontown woman who they say had 18 packets of heroin.

Providence McKee, 20, of Victoria Place, Eatontown, was arrested just after 3 a.m. on Sept. 13 in Holmdel.

McKee is charged with Possession of CDS (Heroin) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, and Driving While Suspended.

According to a news release from Holmdel Police Lt. Michael Pigott:

Sgt. Michael Hughes was on patrol on Laurel Avenue when he saw Jeep being driven erratically. He followed the vehicle for a short distance, then pulled the driver -- later identifed as McKee -- over at the intersection of Laurel Avenue and Middle Road.

Police determined her driver’s license was suspended, and she was placed under arrest.

That’s when police found 18 packets of heroin, three hypodermic syringes, and 19 empty packets of heroin.

She was processed and released on a summons, pending a court appearance.
