Seabrook Jewish Community Celebrates the Feast of Purim

More than 60 residents attended the event.

The Seabrook Jewish Community celebrated the feast of Purim on March 24. On Purim, the Jewish people recall their miraculous deliverance from their enemies 2,400 years ago. The celebration included the retelling of the story (the reading of the Megilah) of Purim and traditional foods including hamentashen, a tricornered pastry. More than 60 residents attended the event.

Seabrook is one of 18 continuing care retirement communities managed by Erickson Living. The scenic 98-acre campus is located in Tinton Falls, New Jersey and is home to more than 1,400 residents of varying faiths. For more information, visit ericksonliving.com.
